Recesses in the wall between the studs and simply screws to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the door is outside the wall so there is no chunky frame to ruin the clean and modern look. Acrylic shelves inside are fully adjustable. You’ll get four shelves on the 34″ model. Our unique patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Because the shelves slide in the supports the shelves can’t fall off and can’t move but you can still adjust them anytime you want. Optional shelf retainers slide onto the shelf supports which can prevent the shelves from coming out at all until you slide those retainers out of the way – perfect in Skilled Nursing Memory Care or other similar environments. Blum concealed hinges with soft close built in assures the door will never slam shut but softly close on its own instead. Box is SOLID pine and the Shaker style door is SOLID maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white so you don’t have to. Three versions to choose from. – 1) Get your door unfinished so you can stain it yourself 2) Get your door primed so you can paint it yourself or 3) Get the whole cabinet finished in white enamel. Thin plastic trim surround on the box covers the rough edges of your drywall opening but you will only see that trim surround when you open the door – the door covers it when closed. The box is 3.5″ deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth but fits in standard 2×4 walls. Door only projects about 1″ from the wall when closed. Door is NOT drilled for a knob so it is reversible to open either Left or Right – nickel knob is included but not installed. Completely assembled. All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it in the wall and screw it to the studs with included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet measure your wall opening. – it MUST BE 14.25″w x 34.25″h. If your opening is larger the trim surround won’t cover it.
