Our Moose Landscape is the first in a new series of nature-themed contemporary metal giclee prints. In an effort to capture the rustic essence of the animal’s natural habitat in a contemporary light we have taken a gorgeously enhanced photograph of the mountainous forest and framed it in the silhouette of a calmly passing moose. The surface of the artwork features a crisp clean finish with a lightly textured shift between a semi-gloss eggshell on the white backdrop and a satin matte finish on the black and grey acrylic inks. If you have every been fortunate enough to see a moose in the wild you can appreciate the iconic shape of the antlers and the unexpectedly imposing height and size of the animal. With evergreens and aspens visible through the moose’s silhouette this modern landscape artwork is a subtle reminder of the global efforts needed to keep our moose in their natural habitat and let Mother Nature flourish. This piece has an optional creative twist: the metal art panel can be mounted to a larger metal back panel creating a border around the edges framing in and layering the finely-raised artwork as it floats slightly off the wall.
